Rules

E.O.FILPA organizes a Championship with selected Regularity events held by its clubs. The only Championship is that of the Federation. Clubs conduct events (competitions) that designate a Cup Winner, Multiple Winner, or Trophy holder.

The events included in the E.O.FILPA Championship are based on the international FIVA regulations, the General Regulations of E.O.FILPA, and the specific rules and specifications that have been designed and apply exclusively to the Championship.

The Championship events may be one-day or two-day events. In two-day events, each day is calculated separately. The first ten winners of each day are awarded points as follows:

  • 1st – 12 points
  • 2nd – 10 points
  • 3rd – 8 points
  • 4th – 7 points
  • 5th – 6 points
  • 6th – 5 points
  • 7th – 4 points
  • 8th – 3 points
  • 9th – 2 points
  • 10th – 1 point

In the competitors’ standings, the ten best daily results from the events will be taken into account.

The Champion is declared the driver/co-driver with the highest total number of points, based on the number of daily events determined by E.O.FILPA.

After the completion of the events, the first six in the overall drivers’ and co-drivers’ classification will be awarded.

In the event of a tie, priority will be given to the driver or co-driver competing with a vehicle of an older category. In the event of a further tie, priority will be given to the vehicle with the smaller engine displacement, and in the event of yet another tie, priority will be given to the older vehicle by year of manufacture.

The clubs shall publish the overall classification at the end of each day. After the conclusion of each event, they shall communicate the final results to E.O.FILPA within 24 hours, which will then publish them on its website. The clubs bear exclusive responsibility for the correctness of the results.

The presentation of the Championship trophies to the winners shall take place after the conclusion of the Championship, at a time and place to be announced by E.O.FILPA.

E.O.FILPA shall appoint/approve, at all Regularity Championship events, a Steward to handle any protests and an Observer who will monitor all aspects of the organization and complete and submit a report form to E.O.FILPA.

Award recipients must be present at the Championship awards ceremony. In the event of an inability to attend, they must appoint a representative to collect their trophies; otherwise, the trophies will not be awarded.

The events counting toward the E.O.FILPA Championship are agreed upon and announced each year by the Events Committee by 30/11.
