Vehicle Circulation

A vehicle that is classified as a vehicle of historical interest before 3/4/2023 and bears a numbered distinguishing mark (FH FILPA plates) according to KYA No. A 82350-3809 (Government Gazette B' 4948/31-12-2019) and Par. 2 of No. 36 of Law 5167 (Government Gazette A' 207/20-12-2024) drives freely (until 31/12/2026) within the boundaries of the Regional Unit where it is parked and stored (with the exception of the region of Attica, except for the P.E. Islands, where traffic is allowed within the relevant Region):

  • All Sundays.
  • On working days and hours for the purposes of their repair.


In addition, it may circulate freely:

  • For the purposes of participating in events of legally licensed historic vehicle operators.
  • For one-time automobile travel during the two (2) days prior to the start and the one (1) day following the end of the event.


Vehicles designated as historic after 3/4/2023 and bearing state registration information in accordance with Law 4850 (Government Gazette A' 208/5-11-2021) may be driven freely.
